Call for Applications Open — Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and Digital Data 2026/2027


The call for applications is now open for the Master’s Degree in Social Sciences and Digital Data for the academic year 2026/2027 at the University of Padua, offered within the School of Human and Social Sciences and Cultural Heritage.

This transdisciplinary Master’s program is fully taught in English and delivered in blended mode. It provides students with advanced skills in analyzing, interpreting, and using digital data across a wide range of social and economic fields.

The program combines sociology, statistics, computer science, psychology, philosophy, economics, and education with hands-on laboratory activities. Students develop a strong understanding of both the technical dimensions of digital data and their broader social, political, and ethical implications in global and multicultural contexts.

Graduates will be prepared to work in diverse professional environments — from education to research, from innovation to business, from healthcare to communication — through the use of advanced data analysis techniques (digital methods, machine learning, generative artificial intelligence); collaboration with data science specialists; solid preparation on the social and ethical implications of digital transition processes.

The program prepares graduates for two main professional profiles:

Digital Innovation Strategist
A professional specialized in designing digital strategies, capable of integrating social and technological expertise to support digital transformation processes within organizations.

Digital Data Strategist
A specialist in digital data management, analysis, and quality control.
